Why OpenFader

I started OpenFader because the mixer apps I tried felt clunky. I wanted to build an app with the quality of a premium product that anyone could use.

My aim is to make the interface as good as I can: simple for beginners and musicians, with the customization experienced users need. Open source gives people a way to add support for their mixers, so this app can be used by more people.

The roadmap for this project goes beyond a client app. I want to make virtual soundcheck easier, add automatic feedback reduction, and do much more.
